Something cute I’ve been doing since December ‘22.
Thank you to my soul sister Natalie Goldberg & my favorite writing book of all time Writing Down The Bones for the inspiration of starting a Spontaneous Writing Booth, which I’ve now done virtually (who knows though — IRL writing booth coming soon maybe? I think that would be so much fun.)
This has been fantastic for my writing practice, an incredible way to connect with people and brighten their days, and a little ‘free’ coffee money, especially when I’ve had idle time in airports. And it’s kind of been a hit, tbh! I’ve had a few repeat customers so far :)
I’ve been offering handwritten poems for $5, typed ones for $10 (we know I’m an analog girl in a digital world!), and mailed handwritten letters for $15 <3
