ABOUT ME

Here’s the typical spiel:

Christina is a detail-oriented writer and editor with a compulsive need to correct grammar, punctuation, flow, formatting, and word choice. A born perfectionist, she is also incredibly passionate and creative, with a diverse background in writing, fashion, filmmaking, and marketing. She is enthusiastic and always eager to continue to learn and evolve, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from DePaul University, an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Professional Designation degree in Merchandising and Marketing from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), and training in TV & Film Writing from The Second City Training Center in Chicago.

If it feels like my work is all over the place—it’s because it kind of is. I have too many passions to be confined to doing just one thing or pursuing just one avenue. I like to think they’re all my thing. And that I do them all pretty well. I am multi-talented and multi-disciplined, but more than anything I’m an open-minded, empathetic, kind, silly, intuitive, creatively curious free bird with lots of energy when it comes to the things I’m truly passionate about (1. Music 2. Laughing 3. TV/film/reading.) I’m a professional idea-bounce-arounder, part-time helper, and I have a wildly on-point ability to consistently turn something good into something f*cking GREAT. I love language and words and doodling and finding new ways to express myself creatively that feel fun and fresh.

Authenticity and transparency and making people feel good+understood are my thing(s). So if you have a weird aching gut feeling like you’re supposed to hit me up to work on something together (even if it doesn’t seem to be aligned with anything i listed above^), do it! <3
